Citrus Fresh Essential Oil

Citrus Fresh is a blend that I use all the time. A blend of orange, tangerine, mandarin, grapefruit, lemon, and spearmint makes is a perfect essential oil to diffuse, clean surfaces with or add to our drinking water! On a physical level, Citrus Fresh supports the immune system and lymphatic system. This energizing blend was designed to be taken as a dietary supplement.

Citrus Fresh is a relaxing, calming blend loved by children and adults alike. Rich in the powerful antioxidant d-limonene, it supports the immune system and overall health* while bringing about a sense of well-being, creativity, and feelings of joy. It also works as an air purifier.

For the Home

  • Liven Up Your Drinking Water - Add a few drops of Citrus Fresh to your GLASS of water. (Don’t use plastic…essential oils etch or even dissolve petrochemical based products like plastic and styrofoam!) 
  • Carpet Freshener - Combine 16 to 20 drops of essential oils with 1 cup of baking soda or borax powder. Mix well and place in a covered container overnight so that the oil can be absorbed by the powder. Sprinkle over your carpet and vacuum up the powder immediately to infuse a rejuvenating fragrance into the room. 
  • Freshen Air - A few drops on a cotton ball hidden in inconspicuous places around the bathroom will scent it as well. This method may also be used for cupboards, drawers, and any place else you might need/want a refreshing scent. 
  • Sanitize - Add Citrus Fresh oil to freshen and sanitize your dish sponge or cloth. 
  • Surface Cleaner - Make a spray bottle of water with 15-25 drops of Citrus Fresh oil to kill germs in bathroom or on kitchen surfaces.
  • Freshen Laundry - Add a couple drops to your laundry soap before adding to a load of laundry to help banish bad odors.
  • Remove Sharpie Markings - Remove Sharpie markings from hard surfaces and some cloth (test the cloth first) with a couple drops of Citrus Fresh.
  • Scuff Mark Remover - Use to remove the scuff marks from shoes off of hard floors.
  • House Cleaner - Add to your homemade house cleaners for an extra punch of cleaning power.
  • Creative Boost - Diffusing citrus fresh can encourage creativity.

For Emotional Balance

  • Concentration - Diffuse while studying for a test to support memory recall and concentration. 
  • Uplifting - Diffuse Citrus Fresh for 20-30 minutes twice a day to create a cheery environment in your home or workplace.

Berry Fresh Lemonade

Ingredients:
1 lemon, juiced
4 drops Lemon essential oil
5 drops Citrus Fresh™ essential oil
2 cups strawberries
2 cups blueberries
3–4 cups cold water
Natural sweetener, such as Stevia Extract, Yacon Syrup, Blue Agave, or raw sugar, to taste (optional)

Directions:
Add Lemon and Citrus Fresh essential oils to the lemon juice. Puree berries and add to the lemon juice mixture. Stir well. Add 3 cups of water, stir, and taste. If flavor is too strong, add another cup of water. If too tart, stir in your choice of sweeteners—Stevia, Blue Agave, Yacon Syrup, or raw sugar, as desired. Chill before serving. Add sliced fruit and ice cubes to serve.
