WHO AM I?
- I am a mom to two wonderful little boys who are full of energy and germs.
- I am a wife to a wonderful man who is an Assistant Principal at a local middle school so by proxy he's full of germs as well but very lacking on the energy part.
- I am a full-time Instructional Technology Specialist at a 6A high school and I LOVE my job. I get to teach educators how to use technology and how to integrate into the classes with their students so that it may be used to enhance learning. Seriously, I have the best job in education because I get to teach but I don't have to grade!
- I am a part-time designer and co-own Our Creative Mess with my mom. We design invitations, announcements, party printables and so much more. We do custom designs as well for as low as $10 so if you're in the market for invitations let us know!
- I am a woman who often times gets worn out spiritually, physically and emotionally.
- I am a BIG skeptic and I research everything extensively before I take it for fact.
- I am honest - to a fault at times. This is why I could never have a successful career in politics and if I had to choose a faction I would choose Candor without hesitation. If my last sentence confused you then you need to read Divergent!
- I am also someone who wants to create a healthier life for me and my family.
I started to notice a trend in our society in that the companies who have a lot of money and power are fooling us into living a lifestyle that is harmful to our health but profitable to their pocketbooks! We have a big problem when our children are becoming immune to antibiotics because anytime they have a fever we are told to treat it with a prescription. Do we still use modern medicine in my house? Of course we do!! But we don't over use them. If I have an all natural alternative that solves the problem then that is always my choice before treating it with products that contain toxins. You know what happened since I began using essential oils to help my family live a healthier life? My boys have a stronger immunity than they've ever had! My youngest had the majority of his preschool class absent for a week due to strep throat and my son never caught it.
